St Peter's Class
Welcome to an insight into St Peter's class, where we cherish every day to learn and love!
Our class teacher is: Mrs Longbottom.
Our teaching assistants are: Miss Wood and Miss Buttery.
Class Charity
In our class, we’ve chosen to raise money for our charity which is Zarach.
This is a Leeds-based charity which supports local families in financial difficulty who need help to provide their children with a bed.
We plan to have a pyjama day on the 22nd of October to raise money for this worthy cause.
Everyone is welcome - class virtue
At the beginning of the year, we were chosen, as a class, to represent the virtue of 'love of neighbour'.
Beyond the classroom
We have an exciting range of experiences this year to help us develop our love of learning.
In Autumn:
We plan to reinforce our learning in geography with a walk through the town and up to the park. We will be taking a close look at the buildings and the sights on the way.
As part of this walk, we will also be calling into the library for a story.
In the spring we plan to visit Tropical World as part of our Science topic - animals and their habitats.
In the summer, we will be going into Leeds and visiting the Cathedral as well as calling into the Central Library.
Engaging with our learning
