Our Charities 

This is a list of our charities who the different classes have chosen to support. Every year the children learn about their charity and the essential work that they do. This not only raises awareness of these charities, but the children also carry out an event throughout the year to raise money of support their charity in a different way. 

 

St Patricks - St George's Crypt

 As a school we send money donated from our Christmas productions to St George's Crypt and St Anne's Shelter. This year we raised

St Paul's - Leeds Hospital Charity

St Paul's class support the Leeds Hospitals Charity. Instead of raising money for the charity, they collected in Advent calendars which were sent to the hospital and distributed to the patients who were in their during Advent and Christmas 

 


 

St Margaret's - Stroke association 

St Margaret's celebration Stoke awareness day but dressing in Purple and bringing in donations. They raised £155 on this day. Since then, James has carried out further fund raising by baking cakes so sell to his class mates and has raised a further £90! Well done James!

 

 

 

St George's - Yorkshire Air Ambulance

St Georges class invited a member of the Yorkshire Air ambulance in to speak to them. It was very informative! They will be carrying out their event later this year. 

 

 

 

St Marys - Mary's Meals 

 

 

 

 

 

 

St Francis - Street Angels/ Emmaus

In St Francis, the children will be carrying out a toy top sale to raise money for their charity - Homeless Street Angels.

 

 

 

 

St Therese - Help for Heroes 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

St Bernadette's - RSPCA 

St Bernadette's class had great fun raising money for their charity by dressing up as animals and carrying out a sponsored run! This raised £275 for the charity and they were very grateful!
