Why Choose St Joseph's
We are delighted that you are considering our school for your child’s education. Choosing the right school is one of the biggest and hardest decisions you will make as a parent or carer. You can read everything about a school or chat to people in the community, but nothing beats visiting the school and getting a ‘feel’ for the place.
At St Joseph's we are committed to nurturing each child’s unique potential by promoting a welcoming and respectful environment. Guided by our Catholic virtues and core values, we strive to instill compassion, integrity, and a sense of purpose in every student. Our approach encourages all children—regardless of their background or beliefs—to grow in character and understanding, helping them to navigate the world with respect, empathy, and a strong moral foundation. Together, we create a community where all children can thrive academically, spiritually, and socially.
This is a friendly, welcoming school.
Pupils are proud to belong to the school family. Relationships between staff and pupils are positive and caring. Staff know each pupil very well. They greet pupils individually every morning. This helps pupils to feel happy and safe.
The school is ambitious for all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
